Pumpkin Carving

Even though we don't do Halloween mom brought home a pumpkin from church for Jared to carve out.

When he found out that he was allowed to carve a pumpkin, he drew out on a paper what he was going to carve on the pumpkin.

He started cutting it open in the house, but it smelled so bad that he was sent outside.

He apparently didn't mind the cold weather! :P

then it started to get a little sticky and messy, so he got a volunteer (Melia) and blue gloves to help him

Daniel thought it smelt so bad he went inside! :P

Cool, eh?

the seeds which mom tried cooking but they didn't work out for some reason :-/

the dogs (especially Daisy) were trying so hard to eat whatever was coming out of the pumpkin it was hilarious.

I admit that the smell did bother me after a while, and i walked on the other side of the patio (in my bare, cold feet) to get away from it, and to see if there was anything interesting enough to take a picture of.

I was trying out some camera settings! :P

I unfortunately i do not have a picture of what Jared carved (maybe i'll take a picture and post it tomorrow?).
