| A local United Way office realized that the organization had never received a donation from the town's most successful lawyer. The person in charge of contributions called him to persuade him to contribute. "Our research shows that out of a yearly income of at least $500,000, you give not a penny to charity. Wouldn't you like to give back to the community in some way?" The lawyer mulled this over for a moment and replied, "First, did your research also show that my mother is dying after a long illness, and has medical bills that are several times her annual income?" Embarrassed, the United Way rep mumbled, "Um ... no." The lawyer interrupts, "or that my brother, a disabled veteran, is blind and confined to a wheelchair?" The stricken United Way rep began to stammer out an apology, but was interrupted again. "or that my sister's husband died in a traffic accident," the lawyer's voice rising in indignation, "leaving her penniless with three children?!" The humiliated United Way rep, completely beaten, said simply, "I had no idea..." On a roll, the lawyer cut him off once again, "So if I don't give any money to them, why should I give any to you?" |

My baby girls
Here are the rest of my babies!
Aren't they cute?
The super blonde dog is Daisy-my mom's dog
the super dark dog is Blossom-suppose to be family dog but yea! :P
The medium coloured dog is Ellie-pretty much my dog, also Blossom's sister!
Blossom with the ball.
Sorry, her head is chopped off. =P
"Nope, not giving you the ball"
If Blossom doesn't get the ball she'll go after who ever does and barks and tries to get the ball from them.
She's such a poor loser. :P
awe
Ellie doing a silly face
Daisy and Ellie

Blossom
They're very photogenic dogs, eh?
racing down the stairs

My baby, Ellie
Yes, this is my baby girl, Ellie!
Isn't she adorable!
Only her and Chelsea will come in the fort with me. So whenever i want just Ellie and me we go in the fort and the other dogs go by the slide and wait for us to slide down.
Yes, Ellie gets back down by sliding down the slide. :P
Isn't she ADORABLE??
this is by the steps. She will NOT come down the steps, so you could say i was in a way torturing her, because she only comes down when i'm by the slide.....:P
awe
i laugh every time i see this photo. If i'm by the slide she sometimes comes down right away or i have to coax her a little bit. This time though i just took photo's...:P
hope you enjoyed the photo's! :D

Pumpkin Carving
Even though we don't do Halloween mom brought home a pumpkin from church for Jared to carve out.
When he found out that he was allowed to carve a pumpkin, he drew out on a paper what he was going to carve on the pumpkin.
He started cutting it open in the house, but it smelled so bad that he was sent outside.
He apparently didn't mind the cold weather! :P
then it started to get a little sticky and messy, so he got a volunteer (Melia) and blue gloves to help him
Daniel thought it smelt so bad he went inside! :P
Cool, eh?
the seeds which mom tried cooking but they didn't work out for some reason :-/
the dogs (especially Daisy) were trying so hard to eat whatever was coming out of the pumpkin it was hilarious.
I admit that the smell did bother me after a while, and i walked on the other side of the patio (in my bare, cold feet) to get away from it, and to see if there was anything interesting enough to take a picture of.
I was trying out some camera settings! :P
I unfortunately i do not have a picture of what Jared carved (maybe i'll take a picture and post it tomorrow?).
