So when my dad went to Vancouver for a few days my mom wanted to surprise him and paint my room. Now your probably wondering why she would do that when she should actually be surprising me since its my bedroom. But I guess you can't ask some one to pick out some colors for they're bedroom and then tell them that they have to move everything out of their bedroom without telling them that they're getting their bedroom painted! :P

Yeah! I don't think that that would work. But if anyone tries it let me know how it turns out! :P

But anyways, my dad was going to do it for me (since I was promised it a while ago) but mom wanted to do it herself and surprise him. I however did not know this. So when mom was out getting the paint dad called and he asked where mom was. So I innocently told him that she went to go get some paint. And when he asked what for I again innocently told him for my bedroom. So when mom got home she asked me, "did you tell dad about the surprise?" and I innocently replied, "what surprise?"

"the surprise of us painting your bedroom. Dad just called me on my cellphone and was asking about it. Did you tell him?"

"Oh! That was a surprise?" I asked.

"yes it was. Didn't you know" mom said trying not to laugh.

So that's how I found out that it was suppose to be a surprise.

Anyways I got pictures so i posted them below. :D

(if you guy's are wondering why i wasn't helping mom with the painting its because I get headaches and migraines from a lot of things. And one of those things i get migraines from is fresh paint. So I can only be around fresh paint for about 5 minutes then leave. I thought I could stay in longer but that thought was painfully proved wrong. So 5-8 minutes was all i could go into my bedroom for! :'(...)

So then the day we finished I was cleaning out the rolling things (idk what they're called) and I had quite a bit of fun with the brown one. It SERIOUSLY looked like milk chocolate! :D

(and yes i'm wearing and apron. I think I just made something. hmm.......I can't remember what! But i had to quickly do this. Or else i'd get a migraine. Luckily I didn't! :D)

I don't know if you remember or not but a while ago I posted a prayer request for my older sister Anita who was taking her drivers license test. Well she didn't pass but today she tried again and she successfully past! Praise God! :)

Spring Break catch-up

So how has everybody's Spring Break being?

What have you done so far?

Well for me, we just started painting my bedroom yesterday!! :D

I'm so excited! We're painting two walls brown and the rest green. I have taken before pictures and I will take after snaps as well! :D

Also seeing how I broke cough my light yesterday while moving a really tall ladder in my room, we also bought a new chandelier/light. But good thing is that mom said that we were already going to get me another one so its all good. :D

Oh, another bonus is that my lamp matches! :D yay

I'll take pix of those two things as well! :)

Lets see, what else is new?

Uhhmm, it finally looks like the weather has made up its mind and we're starting spring! yay

So no more snow!! Of course we have once in a while a bone chilling wind and awful rain but, hey! Its fine! :D

So I have a few prayer requests.

First my sister is taking her drivers test today. So please pray for her.

One of our friends grandmother has breast cancer and is having surgery tomorrow.

And my dad is traveling down with my sister-in-law on Saturday (maybe friday) from Vancouver. So please pray they have a safe trip.

So that wraps up this post.

St. Patrick's day

So for St. Patrick's day (which was yesterday! :P lol just thought i'd say that) we had our friends the Coulombes over. So we did our school in the morning then had some lunch and then mom made chocolate, cupcakes while I made some green icing for the cupcakes. Then they came!!! :D :D :D :D :D

The house went to medium to HIGH!!! (Volume wise)!!

But before decorating the cup cakes we went on the tramp! This one is one of my fav's 'causes Jenny (on the very right hand side) is in mid-air! :D haha

i don't know what they were doing here!

then Jenny decided she had enough bouncing (or being bounced around) and came and sat in my lap!

Then we went inside and did the cup cakes!

Now i'm going to do something very brave and name all of them. Brave of me, eh? :P).

Then Jenny told me she did some more sprinkles on her 'cake' so I took another picture of her 'cake' :P

So we went outside then and walked the dogs, (I and some of the girls did while the boys went and played on the trampoline) then when it was time to leave all of the Coulombe kids were in the van and then within 2 minutes they're van was loaded with three of our Shonwise boys and three of they're girls were in our house. Yup, we traded three girls for three boys! It was fun! After doing supper the girls did whatever and Bridgett and I planned, talked, and went outside, did other things, had cake (from Jared's 9th birthday party) and then went outside again and then went and did some beading. :)
