Friday-VBS

These pictures were taking on July 8th. This was the last day of VBS. Now as i told you in my post i did a few days ago, my friend Hannah reminded me to take pictures. So i did on Thursday! But i took them on MY camera! You see these pictures (taken on Friday) were taken on my sister Chericce's camera. She came down Thursday night and allowed me to take her AMAZING camera with me to the last day of VBS.

So here are some pictures people! ;)

Okay, so obviously this IS NOT at VBS. This was Friday morning. :P

Jared had just woken up and since he is now officially out of his school readers he's being reading a lot.

I don't know if Calvin and Hobbes is a good book for him to read, but its better then him 'not' reading. :P

note: Jared will quite a bit 'get into' a book. And sometimes he'll read to himself and then when something funny happens he giggles! Its HILARIOUS to watch!

If some one is screaming, he'll scream, if some one is talking, he'll say what they're saying, if they aren't getting what some one said and are quite then Jared will be like, "UH?"

He's like SOO out of this world and on another of his own!

Then Anita unlocked her car, but she had to run back into the house and grab something, so i decided to try a shot. I actually really liked, how it turned out.

So now some pictures of VBS.

Note: Just so you know what's going on, i'll explain what i was doing. I was originally going to help out with the Preschool, but then there was this little girl, Julia who no body had being assigned so they switched me from preschool, to nursery. :)

Julia kinda cleaning and kinda making a mess and kinda organizing. I know it sounds weird, but it would have all made sense if you were watching her. =P

Vanessa was SOOO into the game, she was jumping up and down. It was SOO funny to watch!!

Julia was finding me something in her book and Cedrick came up and when he sat down she looked at him and said, "Nooo Cedwick!!"

Yes, she had problems sharing with him the entire week, unfortunately!

It was funny, because everytime Jana poked her head around the corner Julia laughed. But when Cedrick (Cedwick :P) all of sudden pulled open the sliding curtain thing she gasped and said loudly, "NOO Cedwick!!" Then she grabbed the curtain handle and closed it.

Note: I don't know what else to call it, except a curtain. Its like not fabric curtain, but hard. And its like a door but not really. So, i'll just call it the sliding curtain door from now on. ;)

Then Cedrick decided to open it again. Of course Julia protested.

"NOO Cedwick!"

She again closed the sliding curtain door....

But then (of course) he opened it and she protested more loudly, "NOO Cedwick"

So Jana said that she'd read them a story....

After the story though, Julia went back behind the curtain door, so Jana went to go play with her again, while Loreen read to Cedrick.......

Jana a few minutes later told me that i should get a picture of Julia.....She was SO cute in 'her' chair

It was funny, because she'd get on, rock a few times but she'd slide off, so she had to climb back on again, rock a few times, slide off, etc.......=D

Then it was time for snack, but Jana wasn't hungry and Cody was fussing so Kate, Loreen and I took Paul, Cedrick and Julia to get a snack. After snack Loreen and I went back to the nursery to see if the baby was still sleeping. He thankfully was (he hadn't being sleeping a lot lately during his naps) so Loreen, Kate and i took the kids outside.

We then went back inside but the baby was still sleeping and since we wanted him to sleep as LONG as he could we took them back outside.....again........

Oh yeah! I almost forgot! So while the kids were eating they're snacks in the back with all of the other kids, Paul saw this red dolly that some guy's in our church use to move some chairs around, and so after we asked some ladies they said that it would be okay if we gave Paul a ride on it.

Julia wasn't so sure about it though....

We met my younger brother Josiah in the church Foyer. He said that they were waiting for the next group of kids to come.......

but then she went back and was just staring at it. It was really cute!

Cedrick and Paul were playing, and i was just snapping pictures, but this one is definitely my favourite. Paul looks SOO terrified! LOL! But he actually wasn't.... :P

Then right after i took this picture i lay back on the grass and was about to say something when Loreen threw grass at me and some went in my mouth. This meant WAR!!!! So i put the camera back inside and the war started.....It was SOO much fun! The little kids thought it was a blast!! I have to say though, that i can't blame Loreen for starting it. We did have one on Tuesday, a HUGE one with Jana and Kate on Wednesday, and then Thursday we didn't have one because it rained and was cold, but Friday. Well Friday as you can see we had another! :P

Back in the Nursery after Cody had woken up, Cedrick started playing with his and Cody's stroller!

Paul was just standing in the middle of the floor with two books in his hands. It was so funny! We asked him if he wanted to play or have us read to him but he said no.

I REALLY like this one. I was like, "Julia what do you have?' And she started waving it. I REALLY like how it turned out!! SUPER cool!!

Then Cedrick decided that it would be a good idea to spill his cheerio bag. He had already done it a before but then RIGHT after Jana, Connie (one of the girls from church who had just dropped in) cleaned it up he dumped it again. So Jana held out the bag and let him put all of the Cheerio's back himself. It was really cute to watch. After that he didn't do it again! YAY!!!

This was a really funny few minutes for me. Julia was playing with a bus for a while then stopped and sat on it. It was SOOOOOOO funny!!!

I offered to help but she said, "No, tank-u" =P

Then she got tired of it and her and Loreen started to play with a toy.....

Then all of the VBS teams had met in the sanctuary to sing and wrap up the last day of VBS and since Julia and Paul really seemed to enjoy listening to them and clapping they're hands Loreen and I took them out.

It was RIGHT after i took this picture the kids were ending a song by shouting, "NO" or "UP" or something, and Paul yelled it right with them. It was SOOO cute.....

Okay, i should probably explain this picture....So yes that it Loreen's hand at the end of Julia's cute dress, but no she was NOT lifting her dress. Her hand was actually not evening touching Julia's dress. It was just how the camera was angled and how Loreen's hand was positioned it looks that way......:P Okay? Okay! So now you wont be thinking, "Why is she lifting her dress???" like what i was thinking.....:P

Then since it was the last day, we were cleaning up. And since we were the nursery people were were cleaning up the nursery.

After clean-up there was lunch (for those who stayed to clean-up) and then a short meeting, and then after we finished some more clean-up, two of my brothers, one of my brothers friends, my brothers friends little sisters, Loreen and I decided to have a water fight that Loreen and I started by throwing water-balloons at the boyson Wednesday!! it was SOOOO much fun!

You can't see it, but i was DRENCHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then we were waiting for mom in the car, and i decided to snap some pictures of the now, almost empty parking lot! :)

i was really surprised on how this one turned out! Because there's our church parking lot, and there's this white stone wall all around it, and then on the outside is houses and trees and so on. But when i took this picture it looks like its just a parking lot that goes on and on and then there's a tree planted in the middle of it. Like you can't even seen the brick wall!!
